"There are so many opinions!! I just didn’t know to whom I should listen. For about three months, I logged my meals and increased my protein, but I didn’t have a clear plan, and things weren’t improving." That’s when Kim realized she needed expert support. Kim even invested in a mini fridge for her classroom to stay on track with her snacks, drinks, and meals. "After some trial and error, I have narrowed down the food prep routine. On Sundays, I prep for the week ahead. I use a lot of pre-cooked food from the grocery store (Costco has great options)!"
While she was methodical about tracking macros at first, Kim now feels more confident about making on-the-fly choices, even in busy moments. She shared, "I also keep several protein-heavy snacks in my purse so that I can count on having something I like and something that serves my needs well."
The results speak for themselves. "I have lost and kept off 10 lbs since I first met with Rebecca. Weight isn’t the only indication of success, but since I’ve already had a routine workout schedule, this was one of my current goals."
Beyond the numbers, Kim gained valuable habits and a renewed sense of control over her nutrition.
