Instructor Highlight - Pam Giddings
Q: What inspires you?
A: Having the ability to do something because it is right for you or for your family no matter what anyone thinks or says. Anyone who truly lives their life like that inspires me.
Q: Which CORE57 foundation resonates with you and why?
A: Movement - I honestly believe that as long as we are moving we are living. Everyone has the ability to move in some fashion. The more you move, the more energy you create, the more energy you create the more belief in yourself you build, the bigger the belief the more likely you are to try something new, and the more new things you try the more confidence you find and all of a sudden you have a great foundation for a healthy lifestyle.
Q: Why did you pick fitness as a career?
A: My daughter was a high-level tennis player who had a significant back injury at age 12. Her recovery was long and hard and I felt that I needed a good foundation to understand what she was going to need in the future. I fell in love with helping people learn how to train their bodies "to move better" and set them up for a successful life, whatever that looked like to them. I have been helping people for the past 10 years and could not think of a better career.
Q: How do you like to spend your free time?
A: I love taking bath while listening to music. Bubbles all over the floor and candles lit around the tub. I try and do this at least 2x a week.
Q: Do you have a favorite quote?
A: “You're not late. You're not early. You're on time.”
Q: What was a goal you had for 2022?
A: This year I set out to reorganize my life. As I transition to empty nesting it will be important for me to take this year to set some personal goals, take stock of what is really important to me, and focus on some much needed one-on-one time with my husband.
Pam, thank you for all you do! We love you!!
