If you want to know where to find your contribution to the world, look at your wounds. When you learn how to heal them, teach others.

HEATHER LOVE

Myofascial Therapist/Trainer

Two Words That Describe Heather:
THOUGHTFUL & SUPPORTIVE

I come from a long line of multigenerational farmers and my childhood was shaped by the reassurance that nature was my playground. I grew up embracing hard work, immense fun, steady discipline, creativity, restoration, and the joy of movement. My parents emphasized the importance of arts as well as participating in sports year-round. These values instilled in me a passion for being strong, joyful, present in me body, and teaching others to do the same.

During my senior year of college, while pursuing a degree in nursing, I shifted my focus to fitness. I was fascinated by the human body’s movement and mechanics. I set aside my scrubs to complete my first certification in kickboxing.

Ten years into my fitness career, I experienced a major injury – a significant tear of my biceps femoris. While working with a physical therapist, I became intrigued by the underlying causes of my injury and how it could have been prevented. This led me to focus on myofascial therapy, decompression therapy, stretch therapy, and mobility. I realized that the human body is a complex puzzle, and that true healing comes from addressing the source of the problem, not just the symptoms. Building a solid, balanced foundation is essential for supporting longevity.

I currently live in Canton, GA with my exceptionally loving wife, Stephanie and our two youngest daughters. We have two other local daughters as well as a son living in Ohio.

I completed my group fitness certification with the American Sports and Fitness Association in 2005 and my personal training certification with the American Council on Exercise in 2007. I continued my education with Eric Dalton’s Pain and Posture curriculum, studying under a master trainer in Milton. Currently I hold certifications in Animal Flow, ACE Sports Stretch, Stick Mobility, TRX, Turbo Kick, MOSSA Group Fight and Group Centergy, Techniques for Runners and Cycle, Rowing Form, and Performance with Olympians Josh Crosby. Additionally, I am certified in ACE Mat Pilates and Balance Barre.

With 22 years in an industry I adore, I eagerly anticipate the new experiences and knowledge ahead and look forward to sharing this journey with you.
