Every member who walks through our doors at CORE57 has their own goals, challenges, and successes. Today, we are excited to share our member Helaine’s story from her perspective. With our Trainer and Myofascial Therapist Heather’s guidance, Helaine has put in the work to regain her strength and mobility. Helaine's Story

"When I started my personal training with Heather in March 2024, I was a physical mess! I was just returning to CORE57 after a 4-month absence due to a piriformis injury, and putting off major foot surgery. I wore a knee brace and walked with a pronounced limp. I missed my semi-private workouts and kickboxing class at the gym. I felt defeated!

"Heather looked at me and said, ‘I get you... I got you... and you got this! But, you have to take some steps back to move forward. Be patient and I will have you moving before you know it!’ I put my trust in her because she understands and explains the body, its muscles, and movement so well."

Finding Strength I Didn't Know I Had

"We joined forces, and I was committed to work hard and consistently three days per week for however long it took to regain mobility, through strengthening muscles I didn’t even know existed! I look forward to every workout session, which includes a comprehensive stretching session. The stretching has been a key component to my enhanced mobility.

"Almost one year later, I am amazed not only at my increased strength, but my balance has improved dramatically. I walk four miles without a limp and ditched the knee brace six months in! I can climb stairs without gripping onto the handrail for balance! And, I never imagined I'd be able to return to my favorite class at CORE57, T2/T3 Express Strength & Sprint!

Along with personalized core workouts, we offer therapies like Myofascial Release, Gua Sha, and Cupping as part of our holistic approach to wellness.

These therapies are incredible for addressing muscle tightness, trigger points, and even scar tissue that might be limiting your movement. Techniques like cupping can improve blood flow and ease deep muscle tension, while Gua Sha helps relieve soreness and increase circulation.
