Yoga is a light which once lit will never dim, the better your practice the brighter your flame.

VERONICA ROCKWITZ

Yoga Teacher

Two Words That Describe Veronica:
ENTHUSIASTIC & PASSIONATE

I grew up in Buffalo, New York where my enthusiasm for athletics translated into years of dance, cheer, soccer, field hockey, and skiing. With that, I became passionate for physical fitness.

I was introduced to yoga in 1991 as a college student searching for a means to handle stress in my life. Inspired while studying at the Himalayan Institute in Buffalo, I fell in love with it, which planted the seed for my 32-year yoga journey. While living in New Jersey, I was fortunate to find my first mentor and founder of StillPoint Schoolhouse that challenged me to transform my passion into teaching. It was after my move to Atlanta where I was able to study with my other mentors at Peachtree Yoga Center where I completed my 200 RYT training.

As a teacher since 2007, I look to incorporate multiple yoga disciplines into my classes with the intention of creating a warm, caring environment to share my enthusiasm and compassion with students of all levels. I truly believe that yoga is the foundation for a balanced lifestyle which can open one to life’s infinite possibilities.

I’m a wife, the mother of 20-year-old twins, and grateful for my wonderful family. I’ve also been a Dental Hygienist since 1995 and a Dental Consultant since 2015. My experience as healthcare professional helps contribute to my understanding of whole-body health that I’m able to share with my students.
