“ When You Feel Like Quitting, Remember Why You Started”
TWO WORDS THAT DESCRIBE CHANDALYN:
COACH & ENCOURAGER
I grew up swimming competitively. But I was never taught the importance of nutrition and strength training. Fast forward to my 30s, with two young children and a move to Chicago that rocked my world. My eat whatever with little to no structured exercise routine quickly caught up with me. I hired a personal trainer and after working with her for several months I decided to pursue a my own career in fitness.
I completed my personal training certification with the American Council of Exercise in 2006. And I spent 13 years working independently before I joined the amazing team at CORE57 in 2019! I am also an ACE-certified Health Coach, Pain-Free Performance Specialist (PPSC) and BioMechanics Method Corrective Exercise Specialist. In addition to personal training, I have 25 years of experience as a swim coach.
I love our CORE57 motto, “Be Strong, Be Better, Be You” because our focus is on YOU. What can we do to help make you move better, feel better, and enjoy life? It is a privilege to join our members on their individual journey.
I live in downtown Alpharetta with my husband Sherard. We enjoy the walkable living of being downtown. And we also enjoy spending time at the lake, taking dance lessons and traveling. We have two grown children (Austin & Alyssa) and daughter-in-law (Sara) who live in Birmingham, Alabama.
